Who We are

Pumphead syndrome is a very "metal" name for something that is actually quite clinical: a human twilight state experienced by patients coming off cardiopulmonary bypass.

In addition to being a filmmaker, Uriah Howard Allis has been a cardiac intensive care Registered Nurse since 2022, and works closely with the patient population that experiences this syndrome.

In 2025, Uriah founded Pumphead Productions LLC, an indie production company with a focus on high-quality narrative work.
